Hi, my name is Andrew Lavella, and I am a undergraduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am currently majoring in Public Relations inspired by a lifelong passion for writing and a love for problem-solving. Growing up immersed in the political landscape of Washington, D.C., I developed an early understanding of American politics and an appreciation for how communication shapes public perception. With these experiences, I hope to build a career in public relations that allows myself to combine creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills with deep love for sports. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other professionals in the field while exploring opportunities that challenge them to grow personally and professionally.
Originally from Washington, D.C., I am a devoted fan of sports, including the Detroit Lions, Washington Capitals, and Manchester United, and I also enjoy discussing games and players with enthusiasm. I also value time with family and friends, enjoy traveling, and am committed to staying active through sports and outdoor activities. I like to be know for my drive and dedication, I strive to approach every aspect of life with hard work, teamwork, and encouragement for those around myself.
